Q - Do you inspect the items?
A - This is where
Brooks Global Sourcing
is different from other global
sourcing companies. We provide our overseas
manufacturing partners with a full manufacturing and
quality assurance package for them to follow, often
including tools and inspection gauges. Once in the
UK the parts then go through our own rigorous
ISO9001 inspection procedures.
Q - What happens if the quality of the goods is not
acceptable?
A - If the goods that arrive in our UK factory are
not to the right quality then we have a couple of
options that most Global Sourcing Companies don’t
have:-
1. Our own manufacturing facility may
be able to correct the problem. This is normally the
case, meaning that delays in delivery to our
customers are kept to a minimum.

Q - How long are delivery times ?
A - Delivery times depend on how complex the product
is,
Brooks Global Sourcing
will quote you a realistic delivery
time in the initial enquiry phase. Delivery times
are usually 10-14 weeks but on average customers can
expect their items in 12 weeks. However...the Brooks
method of global sourcing means that we hold stock
in our warehouse for the customer to call off and be
delivered within 48 hours.
Q – What happens if the goods are late?
A
– If the goods look like they are going to arrive
after the due date, and as a result it is likely to
cause our customers a problem then we will offer to
produce a batch in the UK at the same imported price
to solve the problem.
Q - Do you deliver the total order quantity in one
go ?
A – Whatever has been agreed, either in one batch or
regular call-offs.
Q - How do you invoice?
A -
Brooks Global Sourcing
invoice each shipment as it leaves
our UK factory. Customers are expected to pay 30
days from the end of the month of which the goods
are shipped. Special terms can be arranged at the
time of negotiation.
Q -
Do we check the quantity delivered ?
A - Yes we use fully computerised weighing and
counting scales which are calibrated to ensure you
receive the correct quantities. |
